Mildred Ward-Kirlew 59, died on June 18, 2012 at H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.

She was born on Dec 2, 1952 in Helena, Arkansas.

She was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida and a member of the Church of Christ in Fort Pierce, Florida. She was a homemaker.

Ms. Kirlew was preceded in death by her Father: Leonard Ward and Step-father: Leroy Barnes, Sr., Mother: Ruth Walker

Survivors include: Daughters: Kimberly Ward of Ft. Pierce, Fl. Sherri Ward of Fresno, CA. and Tijwana Ward of Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Brothers: Jimmy Ward of Tampa, Florida. Leroy Barnes, Jr. of Fort Pierce, Fl. Jerome Barnes of Clio, Alabama and Calvin Barnes of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Sisters: Vera Woods of Fort Pierce, Florida. Delores Barnes of Memphis, TN. and Mary Ann Barnes of Fort Pierce, Florida.

Services: Visitation will 3pm-7pm, Friday, June 29, 2012 at Sarah’s Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, 10am, June 30, 2012 at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
