Doshie Lee Mitchell

Doshie Lee Mitchell 76, died on July 13, 2012 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce, Fl.

She was born on October 7, 1935 in Mount Vernon, Ga. She was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1957 coming from Mount Vernon. She attended Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church. She also worked as a cook in the restaurant industry.

Ms. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parent: George & Pearlie Roundtree, Brothers: Artis, James, Eddie, Jessie and Lee Roundtree, sister: Cora Williams

Survivors include: Sons: Benjamin Mitchell of Columbus, Ga. Ronnie Mitchell of Ft. Pierce, Florida.  and Harvey Mitchell of Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Daughters: Louise Harvey of Alamo, Ga. Doshie Roundtree of Ft Pierce, Fl. and Alice Sirmons of Ft. Pierce, Florida.

Step-mother: Dezoraite Roundtree of Glenwood, Ga.

Brothers: Franklin & Albert Roundtree of Glenwood, Ga. and George Roundtree of Federal Way- Washington.

Sisters: Lena Roundtree-Wade of Miami, Fl. Roise Roundtree of Glenwood, Ga. Janice Noble and Raynita Peebles both of Mt. Vernon, Ga. Annie Roundtree-Bess of McRea, Ga.

Grandchildren-19; Great Grandchidlren-33; Great great Grandchildren- 2

Services: Visitation will be Friday, 3pm-7pm, August 10, 2012 and 9am- 12pm, Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Sarah’s Memorial Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, 2pm, August 11, 2012 at Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church. A burial will be in Sarah’s Memorial Gardens.
