Elder Guy Fernando Anderson

Elder Guy Anderson, passed away on Saturday, August 31 at 4:06 p.m. Known by all as “POP” ws born on February 19, 1936 in Freehill St. Mary, Jamaica, to the parentage of the late Florence and Ferdiand Anderson. He was a twin brother in a family of ten children. Guy attended the local schools of St. Mary, Jamaica. Guy came to the United States in 1973 and in 1985 he married Willie Mae Anderson whom he so sweetly renamed “Darling.” Pop received the baptism of the Holy Ghost at an early age. He was a faithful and dedicated member of the Clergy and Assistant Pastor of Miracle Crusade First Holiness Church under the pastorate of Bishop Cornelius Bernard. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Crews; brother, Glen Anderson; and sister, Ella Anderson. He leaves to cherish his life and memories, his loving and devoted wife, Willie Mae Anderson(Darling) of Fort Pierce, FL; five sisters, his twin, Detha Burey of Chatham Ontario, Canada, Ivorine Phorpe of Queens, NY, Sara Joy Smith of England, Nazarine Anderson of Montreal, Canada, Margaret Anderson of Toronto, Canada; two brothers, Felix Jackson and Roy Anderson both of St. Mary, Jamaica; four daughters, twins, Cindy and Sandy of Fort Pierce, FL, Sheila Crews of Seattle, WA, Tracey Crews of Fort Pierce, FL; son, Robert Crews of Seattle, WA; several grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.

Services: Visitation will be Friday, Sept 6, 2013, 5pm-7pm at Miracle Prayer Temple and Saturday, Sept 7, 2013, 9am-10am, at Sarah's Memorial Chapel, A Home Going service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept 7, 2013, at 11am at Miracle Prater Temple with Pastor C. A. Bernard, officiating. A burial will be in Riverview Memorial Park. You can sign the guestbook at www.sarahsmemorial.com
